Why you are dumb, sick and broke
The book "Why You Are Dumb, Sick and Broke" (HERE) is certainly shocking. But I believe the author is fundamentally right about how society completely controls, in a gruesomely preemptive manner, our thinking patterns and behavioral habits.
In short, society keeps you poor -- intellectually, financially and spiritually.
Most men I meet are already defeated. I do not discern any combative spirit, nor any will to fight.
Fight for what? People would rather go for security and comfort. Yet security and comfort do not exist. They are illusions. If they do exist, they are like the security and comfort of animals at the zoo.
I think the best thing that can happen to a man is that he is given an opportunity to fight. Tyler Durden (played by Brad Pitt) in the movie Fight Club uttered a supreme truth about manhood: "How much can you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight?"
